I am a native to South Carolina born in Charleston and raised in Moncks Corner attending Berkeley High School. After graduating in 2000, I attended the University of South Carolina in Columbia where I was a member of several organizations such as AAAS, pronounced "Triple AS", (Association of African-American Students) and Student Government as well as worked 3 jobs while in college.

After graduating with a BA in Theatre in 2005, I furthered my education and went to Trident Tech where I received multiple certifications and my Associates Degree in Information Technology. I then continued my education at Strayer University and received my Masters Degree in Information Technology.

I decided to start working for myself where I started my own businesses under Mazyck Enterprises LLC. Starting with at home customer service work it then evolved into obtaining my Life and Health Insurance licenses, Computer Repair and Graphic Design and in 2020 when the pandemic hit, I started a custom t-shirt and craft business. In 2023, I decided to expand my portfolio and added real estate to my repertoire and found a home at Carolina One Real Estate.

I also serve on the board for the Wassamassaw Recreational League in my community as Secretary and IT Specialist. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in Moncks Corner, SC focused on community projects for the people where we reside in the community of Longridge.

I have been together with my middle school sweetheart for 27 years and married for 21. We have 5 children and 3 grandchildren. Between work, football, fishing and community service, organization is my number one skill!
